2. Scope

This notice covers the SoaRummy Steam game and its multiplayer service at steam-rummy.soa666.de. Steam itself is operated by Valve; see also Steam’s Privacy Policy.

3. Data we process

• Steam identity — Steam ID and display name used to authenticate online play (Steam session ticket / Web API) and optionally via Steam OpenID on the website (forum).
• Gameplay / lobby data — lobby codes, match state, connection status needed to run multiplayer.
• Forum posts — text and Steam ID when you post after Steam login.
• Technical logs — IP address, time, URL/path, user agent (secure operation and abuse prevention).
• Support mail — content you send to soarummysupport@soa666.de.

Solo / offline play against AI does not require our game server beyond Steam itself.

4. Purposes & legal bases

• Provide the game and online features (contract / legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR).
• Security, error analysis, and abuse prevention (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Respond to support requests (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR).

We do not sell personal data and do not use marketing trackers on this service.

5. Steam purchases & DLC

The current SoaRummy build has no in-app purchases and no paid DLC. All visual themes and tile sets included with the game are free cosmetics. If paid Steam DLC is added later, payment data would stay with Steam/Valve; we would only receive ownership signals needed to unlock that content.

6. Retention

Lobby and match data are kept only while needed for the session. Server logs are retained only as long as required for security and troubleshooting. Support emails are kept until the request is resolved or longer if legally required.

7. Your rights

Depending on applicable law (including GDPR), you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact: soarummysupport@soa666.de.
